K Raheja Corp Launches ‘Reverse Mentoring’ Programme To Boost Cross-Generational Learning
K Raheja Corp has launched a new ‘Reverse Mentoring’ programme aimed at strengthening cross-generational learning and leadership development across the organisation.
The initiative has been introduced across the group’s businesses, including Mindspace REIT, Chalet Hotels, Inorbit Malls and K Raheja Corp Homes, with senior leaders participating as mentees and mid to junior-level employees taking on mentoring roles.
Designed to encourage direct engagement between leadership teams and younger employees, the programme focuses on areas such as workplace expectations, technology, AI, digital transformation, customer behaviour and future workplace trends. The initiative is intended to create a more collaborative learning environment where perspectives flow across organisational levels rather than through traditional top-down structures.
Under the programme, leaders identify areas where they seek fresh insights, while employees volunteer as mentors based on their interests and expertise. Participants are paired by the HR team around common learning themes and goals. Each mentor-mentee pair is expected to participate in four to six one-on-one sessions over a three to four-month period.
Commenting on the initiative, Urvi Aradhya said, “Through Reverse Mentoring, we are creating a space where leaders can learn directly from the perspectives of younger employees. It helps bring new-age learning, outside-in thinking and honest feedback into leadership conversations, while also giving younger employees greater visibility into leadership decision-making.”
The company said the programme has already completed its first cohort and will continue as a long-term leadership and learning initiative. It also forms part of K Raheja Corp’s broader talent development framework, which includes leadership and career advancement programmes focused on early-career professionals, managers and women leaders across the organisation.
